Current Shotokan Karate Classes:  (until October )
Instruction is on Tuesday & Thursday @ 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.  and Saturday morning @10 a.m.-12:00 noon.  Assistant instructor Master Benny Sledge teaches basics on Friday night at 7 p.m.  Open floor practice is Monday & Wednesday .  Beach workouts are TBA.  All other courses & private sessions available upon request.

Adult Shotokan Karate classes:  $65.00 a month-no contracts. Uniforms and testing fees are extra. 
Kids Shotokan Karate classes:  $80.  per month-no contracts-no extra fees for testing/certificates or belts.  Uniforms and gear are extra. 
Private lessons:  varies per request (normally $55 hr +) 

Women & Kid's Self Defense Courses-See below:
 
Private party (1-5 students) Women's Self Defense Course
Level one: Basic defensive awareness and light physical tactics to include statistics, body targets, body weapons, defensive blocks, break aways, house/car safety and basic strikes.  2 hours long with a total of five quick refreshment breaks   ·
 Certificate upon completion $65  
Level two:  (must have level one certificate) This course takes the defensive tactics to a higher level with more physical ability required.  Tactics include elbow and knee striking, low kicking/striking techniques and finger gouging/scratching tactics.   2 ½   hours long with 4 total quick breaks.
  Certificate upon completion $75.  
   Level three: (must have level two certificate)  This course is a high energy, hard core, defensive tactics clinic.  The agenda includes, but is not limited to, situational defense tactics, home invasion fighting maneuvers, specialty weapon usage (mace, fighting sticks, household items etc.)  weapon disarms, grappling and takedown maneuvers, advanced break away techniques and more.   3 hours with 4 breaks.
       Certificate upon completion $100.

Stranger Danger Course Private Party (1-5 students)  
Stage one:   This course is designed for 3-5 year olds. 
The child is first taught what self defense actually means.  Child ploys are explained and practiced to avoid the danger of being grabbed.  It continues with how to use yelling verbiage & techniques once danger is identified. It then proceeds with instruction of proper techniques to break away from a predators grab.  It finishes with how to tell someone of an incident or near incident.  1  hour duration with a few breaks (flexible at this stage) $55 
Stage two:  This course is for 6-12 year olds.
  The child is first taught what self defense actually means.  Child ploys are explained here for this age group (they differ based on age).  After defensive verbiage is practiced we explore low kicking and scratching techniques.  We advance to break aways from grabs.  Incident reporting is also taught.  1  hr duration with a few breaks.
     Certificate upon completion $55 
Stage Three:  This course is for teens 13-17 year olds.
Whole new worlds of predators are after this group and at this age-peer pressure also comes into play.  Teens are given a glimpse of reality of crime statistics.  They are made aware of the current drugs out there for the dating and the party scene.  I follow up the course with maneuvers they will need on dates, walking home alone, domestic violence and basic break aways from holds.  Internet security. The course finishes with an empowerment statement and teaches body posture to promote that well being
